According to the publication Sky News, Twitter is considering the introduction of a ban on advertising related to cryptocurrency in about two weeks.
It is important to note that this is not confirmed, as Twitter has not yet responded to a request to confirm or deny this information.
Recall that the first of the largest Internet companies who decided to ban the advertising of cryptocurrency projects became Facebook, which announced a change to its advertising policy in January of this year. Recently it became known that Google has also decided to maintain the ban on advertising of ICO and cryptocurrency projects and said that such advertising will be prohibited starting in June of this year.
Based on the available information, Sky News suggests that the new advertising policy will take effect in two weeks. The ban will affect primarily the ICO, the sale of tokens, wallets and exchanges, with the exception of a few companies.
