Brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev seeks to fundamentally change the approach to digital Reklamne using Blockchain technology.
The world’s largest brewery first started out in my advertising campaign through a mobile marketing app Kiip, which uses the Ethereum blockchain to record and track data. The aim is to track and, ultimately, to expand the scope of a specific ad, according to a press release.
Thus, using the blockchain AB InBev advertise five of the most popular brands, including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Limeatrita and Estrellas.
The campaign, which began two weeks ago, built on the basis of the new blockchain product Kiip, which is designed to increase transparency and address problems such as cheating with mobile ads. The database is available to all participants in the sales of digital ads.
A variety of metrics, including impressions, and engagement rates, are recorded in the blockchain ethereum, and AB InBev can keep track of promotional actions every hour. This approach reduces the time spent by the organizers of the campaign tracking parameters. Meanwhile, buyers of advertising can pay for only the ads that meet their criteria.
New advertising system on the blockchain from AB InBev is just one example of the use of technology by the brewing corporations. Earlier, the Belgian brewing giant has joined the consortium developing logistics solutions on the blockchain.
