Ira Kleiman, brother of David Klayman, filed a lawsuit in the amount of $5 billion in district court of Florida against researcher nChain Craig Wright, best known for his claims that he is the mysterious Creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. David Kleiman was a computer scientist and expert on cybersecurity, and that it is associated with the creation and development of Bitcoin Blockchain technology.
Ira Kleiman says that Wright has appropriated hundreds of thousands of bitcoins that were owned by David Kleiman. In the statement the plaintiff claims that Wright took advantage of the fact that the friends and family of Kleiman initially didn’t know about them accumulated wealth, and forged the signature of David, have concluded a number of contracts, with the result that he became the owner of its assets.
The statement means that after the death of David Klaiman 26 APR 2013 Wright stated that they worked together on the creation of the Blockchain and Bitcoin.
In turn, Wright says that David signed the papers on the transfer of rights acquired wealth and intellectual property in exchange for a share in an Australian company. Wright estimated that the share is worth “millions” and convinced Klayman that he will be able to sell it within a few months.
It was obviously a lie, because the company went bankrupt after Wright was misled by the Australian taxation office (ATO). At the end of 2015, the Australian police made a RAID on the house of Wright, but he managed to escape to Britain, where he lives for the moment. In addition to $5 billion.
Ira Kleiman is also claiming compensation for intellectual property.
Commenting on the lawsuit on Twitter, Wright has not been verbose and wrote only one word — “Greed”.
Although Wright never claims he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the aim of the lawsuit is not to determine who is this legendary character in fact, the proceedings can still be required to establish his identity, in order to resolve the litigation.
