XRP significantly increased in price after 11 January, the company announced a partnership with MoneyGram, but after that, the price of RIpple fell consistently. Perhaps the reason was the explanation from MoneyGram that they plan to use allcoin only for the pilot program:
Hello, This is a pilot program being tested on internal MoneyGram International processes and is not intended for consumer use.— MoneyGram (@MoneyGram) January 11, 2018
IOTA has experienced a similar decline in early December, after it became clear that Microsoft officially is not their partner, as stated in the blog Aldona.
Altcoins Cardano and Tron fell by about 13% and 17% respectively during the last 24 hours. The price of Cardano is about 0,76 dollars, and Tron – is about 0.92.
The record for falling prices is Aldon RaiBlocks, which fell by 16 percent within 24 hours and, at the time of publication of the article, trading at 21.19 USD. RaiBlocks was also one of the two coins, which recorded a fall on January 12, when the rest of the cryptocurrency grew.
Drop RaiBlocks due to the vulnerability found in the coin purse, which, by the way, is disabled.
And what currency grow?
Ethereum Classic (ETC) showed the greatest growth in 24 hours – about 17 percent. At the time of publication of the article the price is 44,32 USD. This increase is most likely caused by an interview with Michael Sonenshein, Director of investment Fund of the Grayscale (the Foundation is working with the BTC and ETC), which he gave to CNBC in which he talked about the future investment in the digital currency, in particular in the ETC.
Neo also showed a slight increase of almost three percent within 24 hours. Bitcoin and Gold increased slightly by 0.37 percent over the last day.
