This polls has brought together the local startup, 2chain, which specializiruetsya on smart technology and marketing consulting ICO.

If this happens, it will be one of the first applications of blockchain technology in the official election.

VTSIOM together with 2chain will create a blockchain database, which will receive information about the surveys, to avoid DDoS attacks and other threats, especially on the voting day. General Director VTSIOM Valery Fedorov, commented on this initiative:

Still, we literally had to close the site dedicated to exit floors to avoid various attacks, especially on election day. Thanks to the Blockchain, we can increase the level of data protection from cyber attacks and to ensure the integrity and consistency of data.

The system will include the ability to update in real time, so anyone will be able to follow the results. The project will be launched on 12 March, and elections will start March 18.
