The creators of Ripple have announced a new project called “Xpring” (pronounced “sprin”) to provide financial support to companies that develop products and services for XRP, the third largest cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of more than $ 29 billion.
Currently Ripple is tested and/or used by several banks and by and large never used. The company hopes to change all that with Xpring. Ripple will invest, incubate, acquire, and provide grants to companies that use their digital assets XRP and actively work with the XRP registry.
We, as a company that makes a major contribution to the development and the development of XRP, often hear from entrepreneurs and developers that they would like to have support in one form or another for projects related to XRP. Being one of the few blockchain-companies, which has no desire for speculation, we believe we have unique opportunities to support these entrepreneurs.

Ripple has already announced several projects that they have financed. Just last month they invested $ 25 million in XRP to Fund Capital Blockchain. Blockchain Capital manages assets worth more than $ 350 million and invested in companies like Coinbase, Circle and Kraken.
Earlier this year, the heads of Ripple’s Stefan Thomas (CTO) and Chris Larsen (Executive Chairman and co-founder) invested in Omni. Although investment did not come from the company Ripple, Omni soon integrates XRP as the currency on your marketplace.
