President RAKIB told why he froze the project “Cryptogram”

The cryptocurrency development of special zones in the Crimea, Kaliningrad and the island of Russian has been postponed indefinitely, including from-for absence of special legislation, the President of the Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (RAKIB) Yuri Pripachkin.

“While the project is put on hold because there is no decision on its development and specific legislation. All other projects — Cryptochallenge, Krypto the Russian island — everything is hung. All the talk had subsided, the projects deposited at a bright future,” — said in an interview with RIA Novosti Yuri Pripachkin.

President RAKIB noted that while the legislation on the stock market formed, companies and investors run the world:

“Foreign companies that were going to open a representation of the exchanges, see that while there’s nothing here so look for other jurisdiction,” he said.

In addition, we discussed the issue of creating in the Crimea of production equipment for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency industries, said Vice-Premier of the Crimean government, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov. According to him, Crimea will be able to circumvent currency and banking restrictions, if the Peninsula will be able to create a blockchain-cluster.

In April Pripachkin said that according to his estimates, the introduction of the foundations cryptoeconomy will increase the budget of the Crimea at least 10% per year. The region he called the perfect place to implement all decisions of kryptonyte — from launching a crowdinvesting platforms to platforms for public services on the blockchain.
