It was also made possible thanks to a partnership with bitFlyer. And in July, the company said that they intend to make available this payment option in all its stores across the country.

In August, the Tokyo Marui chain of Department stores, also tested bitcoin payments in one of its stores in Shinjuku. For the test period maximum amount of the transaction amounted to 100,000 yen (about 900 USD).
