Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has just launched its platform blockchain services on the basis of Hyperledger.
In fact, the platform is not a classic SaaS platform and Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. This is a joint project by Huawei and Hyperledger, which received the laconic name “Blockchain Service”.
Hyperledger is a blockchain with open source, created by the Linux Foundation in 2015. Since its inception, the project was joined by over a hundred major sponsors, and many corporate partners.
The project “Future Service” Huawei is focused primarily on smart contracts is a high – performance, safe, and affordable technology platform for enterprises and developers, “with it companies and developers can quickly and fairly economical to operate on the basis of Huawei Cloud over their projects.”
Huawei clearly wanted to get ahead of their Chinese competitors such as Tencent and JD.com in the field of blockchain developments.
The company is also one of the largest sponsors of Hyperledger, despite the fact that joined the project in October last year.
Chinese Internet giant Baidu, meanwhile, also joined Hyperledger in October 2017, and earlier this month launched its own platform on the basis of the blockchain to work for the protection of copyright on the image.
