After several cases of fraud that occurred on Twitter last week when fake Twitter accounts, copy accounts of famous personalities, such as Buterin Vitalik, founder of Ethereum, and Elon Musk tweets appeared with a request to send them a small amount of bitcoin, Elon Musk’s Twitter correspondence declared how much he really have bitcoins.
Not sure. I let @jack know, but it’s still going. I literally own zero cryptocurrency, apart from .25 BTC that a friend sent me many years ago.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 22, 2018
As it turned out, the billionaire and entrepreneur, the founder of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, is only 0.25 bitcoin (BTC), which at the moment is about $ 2,478.
Musk also said that cases of such fraud he had already notified the Executive Director of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, but to no avail. Musk noted that in addition to the 0.25 BTC that was sent to him by one of his friends many years ago he no longer has any assets in bitcoin.
As the Mask is estimated at 24.4 billion US dollars and its assets in bitcoin are only 0,000012% of its overall condition.
In November 2017 Musk denied rumors that he really is the mysterious founder of bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
