Facebook has updated its advertising policy, announcing Tuesday on his blog on January 30, which prohibits advertising “deceptive,” which, according to its opinion, includes advertising of crypto-currencies and ICO.
The statement claimed that there are “many companies” that use Facebook platform for advertising financial products such as binary options, crypto-currencies and ICO, but they do it “unfair”.
Facebook cannot stop the activities of such companies, but it is going to complicate “the process of profit these scammers”, banning all such ads on its platform. The post also urges users to report such ads and thus help Facebook to deal with unscrupulous advertisers.
