The plot was uncomplicated — online fraudsters hacked into the system Block.one and sent investors EOS e-mail, which offered to get free tokens just by clicking the link. Information about the investors became known to the hackers and was used to steal tokens and EOS ETH.

Hackers broke into the mail system Block.one, run by a developer of cloud-based software Zendesk (ZEN). At the moment Block.one temporarily stopped using Zendesk.

ICO EOS has collected $ 4 billion to develop a new software for the block chain. Selling token EOS began almost a year ago, and ended June 3.

During a hacker attack, the scammers send users EOS message with a hyperlink to the website with the domain name “https://xn--es-8bb.com” that web browsers have moved as eos.com.The web site asked users to enter a secret key to unlock your wallets and get free tokens.
