I’m not sure that they ever will compete with US dollar or other major currencies around the world, but there are so many countries where there is a huge demand for functional currency…
In the world 140 countries, each of which has its own currency. Two-thirds of the national Fiat currency not worth the paper on which they are printed. I think bitcoin can solve these problems.
