Binance will pay 250,000 USD for information on the hackers who attacked the stock exchange on 7 March

The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced in his blog on Medium, that’s going to actively oppose hackers attempting to crack the cryptocurrency exchanges.

In particular, representatives of the exchange said they will pay 250.000 USD per BNB bitcoin (cryptocurrency was released by the exchange Binance) for any information leading to the arrest of the hackers behind the attack made on the stock exchange on 7 March.

Recall that in the attack, some users (without their knowledge) were used to purchase cryptocurrency Viacoin at an inflated price. However, due to the fact that the security for the exchange worked quickly enough, the withdrawal was averted and the stock exchange has cancelled all suspicious transactions. As a result, criminals not only did not have money, but they even lost some money.

The reward will get the first one to provide information. To do this, send an email to – bounty@ninance.com. In the case that information sources will be several, the exchange reserves the right to allocate the award between them at their discretion.

In addition, the exchange stated that it had allocated $ 10 million in cryptocurrency to reward, which will qualify those who will facilitate such investigations in the future or help you prevent them.

Binance also called on other cryptocurrency exchanges to follow suit and do the same thing.
