Starting today, Coinbase customers in the EU and Australia can spend their cryptocurrency balances with digital gift cards.
Thanks to a new partnership with WeGift the customers can now shop for cryptocurrencies in all of their favorite retailers: Nike, Tesco, Uber, Google Play, Ticketmaster, Zalando and even over hundreds of others.
Customers who buy e-gift card, not only will not pay fees, but will receive bonuses for the purchase of products. The new service is currently available in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Australia, but the leadership Coinbase promises to increase the number of retailers and markets in the next three months.
At the moment users can make payments in multiple cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and BCash, but soon the list will be expanded.
